Mark Kohl

Raising the Frequency

Presentation Abstract:

This seminar will explore the new age referred to as the Aquarian Age vs the previous Piscean Age. Also, how psychedelics and other sacred medicines are being reintroduced into this new frequency of the Earth, and how it relates to human thought and consciousness. We will explore the shift of individual and collective consciousness, and how natures positive frequency sounds are embedded into natural psylocibin mushrooms affecting the psychedelic experience (vs low vibrational environments). It creates a more profound experience-with many individual cases showing positive results. The goal here is to protect the essence of the psychedelic mushroom in nature, vs the mass production of the mushroom being grown in low vibrational warehouses and assembly lines for mass production.

Speaker Bio:

Mark Kohl, a former musician and well known DGA Director/Union Cinematographer with over 30 years of experience in the film and television world, is the brilliant heart and soul that created Frequency. After losing everything in his battle against severe depression, anxiety, and subsequently alcoholism, he started over by discovering the powerful healing of Ayahuasca and psylocibin mushrooms 9 years ago. Born out of ceremony in the jungles of Hawaii, the vision to create plant medicine to help heal addiction and mental health in others became his life purpose. Mark’s commitment to ethical grow practices, his devotion to genetic preservation and his integrity to protecting psychedelic plant medicine is unparalleled. So much so that Mark implemented the importance of ancient ceremonial techniques with sound frequencies where these magical mushrooms flourish, bathing the mycelium and fruiting bodies in an acoustic chamber, fertilizing them with the healing frequencies of crystal bowls, Buddhist chants and scientifically formulated vibrations. Thereby creating plant medicine with a higher frequency and purity.

Due to most psychedelics being considered a Schedule I drug, they are subject to IRS Code Section 280E. 280E is a tax penalty imposed on federally illegal “drug trafficking” businesses. 280E disallows companies from deducting most of their business expenses from their tax returns. Fortunately, there are strategies that can be used to reduce the impact of 280E, legally allowing businesses to take aggressive but defensible tax positions.

Why Buddhism Needs Shamanism and Why Shamanism Needs Buddhism: A Philosophical Origins Discussion

Presentation Abstract:

In today’s day in age shamanism is a trend on the rise, but ethics are not growing along with the industry and there are many dangers arising in the space.  Buddhism originally arose from Bon Shamanism and was a deep part of the philosophical truths of the tradition that allowed for greater integrity in the ancestral healing and clearing practices. Paul Diamond, a Hourgnan, ordained Kali Preist, Purba Preist, practitioner of Peruvian Plant Shamanism, and Mongolian Buryat Shamanism, uses his unique view point to explore the concept of how buddhism or other similar ethical and philosophical practices can help to shape modern shamanic practices for greater integrity, healing and safety.

Speaker Bio:

Paul is a full time shaman, academic and medicine practitioner. Before he came to his current location in the Sacred Valley of Peru 10 years ago, Paul’s intellectual curiosity found him traveling the world for 25 years learning from masters of many disciplines. Radical Neurology: Applied Psychedelic-Induced Metaplasticity In Neurorehabilitation

Presentation Abstract:

We find ourselves on the cusp of a paradigm-shifting discussion as it relates to neurorehabilitation – and psychedelics may be a key player. Looking at evidence around neuro-inflammation, psychedelic-induced metaplasticity, context-dependent learning, and the re-opening of rehabilitative critical periods as they may apply to conditions like stroke, brain trauma, and neurodegenerative diseases, we start to see a new landscape of potential form on the horizon of neurorehabilitation. Dr. Wingate, who has specialized in the post-acute treatment of brain trauma and stroke since 2011 will discuss what this landscape may look like and a framework in which to apply it.

Ibogaine the Addiction-Interruptor Panel Discussion

Presentation Abstract:

Learn from a panel of Oregon licensed and unlicensed facilitators and guides about how Oregon Psilocybin Services (OPS) is impacting mental health in Oregon and beyond. Panelists will also share options created by OPS Service Centers to address the different approaches to supporting the intentions of their clients.

This session is designed for professionals and the community interested in mental health to understand more about some of the impacts and options available through the nation’s first psilocybin adult supported use program.

Speaker Bio:

Lakshmi Narayan had a life-changing awakening experience with Ayahuasca in 1996, and another life-changing experience with Ibogaine in 2015. She knows first-hand the power of entheogens aka pssychedelics to heal personal trauma and evolve one’s consciousness. She has dedicated her life and communications skills to educating people about entheogens and to creating pathways for those suffering from addiction, trauma, and other ills to heal and awaken with plant medicines, in particular iboga and ibogaine.

Dr. Tracy Ganske is a plant medicine practitioner and medical researcher who offers a course on how to prepare for and administer ibogaine for addiction recovery and iboga for psychosiritual expansion and the chemical and alchemical diffferences between the two

Tracy is a cancer researcher with a PHD in biotech medicine and functional medicine and a degree in nursing anesthesiology, but her main claim to fame is her extensive experience with iboga, having traveled all over the world and worked with indigenous iboga traditions in the Bwiti of Gabon as well as the pygmies of Cameroon in the Congo.

Deanne is the founder of Being True To You, a transformational coaching and training company. She has a masters in mental health and counseling and over the last 10 years has found her passion and mission to help people understand and transcend addiction and other states of suffering through personal transformation and natural maturation.

With an Earthy and Grounded Nature, Asha Caravelli has worked alongside Rocky Caravelli and the Dreamhouse staff to facilitate Ibogaine Treatments over a 14 year living apprenticeship. Formally trained by the Elizabeth Kubler-Ross Foundation Mexico Centro in Compassionate Accompaniment as a Life, Death and Transition Doula, Asha supports others through the Liminal Space of Initiation primarily by a devotional daily practice of self-care and ongoing education, remaining ready to hold a safe container without need to change or direct what the spirit brings. Daughter of Ross Kent and Paula Kent. Mother to Delani and Rocco Caravelli. Grandmother  to Leon Emiliano, 21 months. As a Grandmother Asha takes the “long view” of her own healing, her family’s well-being and her relationship with Iboga. She’s happiest outside in nature and at the stove preparing fresh food with Love.

In 2003, Rocky Caravelli was part of the first litter of 2500 people in the Western World to take Ibogaine for addiction interruption. At that time he was an IV drug user of heroin, Methadone 80mg a day,  methamphetamine. He stayed at the Ibogaine Association for 9 months and observed 75 people in a hospital setting receive ibogaine mostly for opiate dependence.

In the late 90s, Chris Jenks was working on his doctorate degree in organic chemistry at the University of California, Davis. Discouraged by the conventional career opportunities available to chemists, Chris was looking for a way to use his training that could really help people. That was when he discovered the work that Howard Lotsof and his contemporaries were doing with ibogaine. After compiling the available scientific literature on ibogaine, Chris traveled to France and Italy to develop and publish a procedure to extract total alkaloid (TA) and purified total alkaloid (PTA HCl) from iboga root bark.

Beyond healthcare, Stephanie has ventured into creating communities centered around music, philanthropy, and the fantastic world of fungi.
